25 North Filmwurks will be holding open auditions for both its upcoming web series “In The Box” and it's full-length film “Goss Acres”.
“In The Box” is a crime show but only in name. Each webisode has a different cast and the crime is only a canvas on to which the real story is painted.
“Goss Acres” tells the story of an FBI agent who becomes embroiled in the workings of a small-town serial killer.
In addition to the above projects, these auditions will be used to pick performers for future projects. Because of that we encourage everyone to audition. All ages, all sexes, all races, all body types.
Auditions will take place at the Fulton County Community Resource Center in Rochester (directions below) from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, May 16.
Each actor will be asked to perform a short prepared monologue of their choosing as well as a piece we will provide. All auditions will be videotaped and an electronic version of the audition can be made available to the actor for their benefit once the audition process is complete.
Shooting for “Goss Acres” will take place during the summer of 2009. Single day shoots for “In The Box” episodes will be ongoing through the year. Shoot dates will be decided as deemed mutually acceptable to cast, crew and filmmakers. Cast members will receive travel expenses, meals and a payment for time and services.

We’re excited to announce that Songs For Daddy has been chosen in the first round of official selections for the World Independent Film Expo.
The World Independent Film Expo takes place May 15, 16 and 17 in Richmond, KY.
We’re very pleased with the recognition that this film has been getting lately and wish to thank our cast members, Desiree Conn and Don Becker.

Word came today that Slow River will be joining Songs For Daddy as Official Selections at the World Independent Film Expo.
The "WIFE" takes place May 15, 16 & 17, in Richmond, KY. It's kind of unfortunate timing as we'll be holding auditions for a number of different projects that day. This looks like a great event and I'd be going otherwise.
It's great to have so many people seeing these films. We feel very fortunate. |

 We received word this morning that the video for Marc-Alan Barnette's Less Is More has been named a Bronze winner in the 30th Annual Telly Awards.
We've had some great success with this video and now this? We couldn't be happier.
Thanks again to everyone involved.
Hopefully, there will be more news to come. |
